A Dutch court has ruled today that BinckBank can use the 'turbo' moniker to market structured products in the Netherlands, rejecting a request from BNP Paribas to enjoin BinckBank to refrain from using the term.

The Hague district court ruled that BinckBank may continue marketing Binck turbos in the Netherlands because investors perceive turbos to be a generic type of investment product rather than a brand belonging to BNP Paribas.
