Swedish market sees big spike in turnover

Turnover in Sweden hits new highs

The Swedish investment products market soared in November, with the turnover of products traded on the Nordic Growth Market (NGM) jumping to Skr2.4 billion (€263 million) in November, a 352% rise from the Skr500 million traded in the same month in 2009.

The rise in trading activity during the year is due to the introduction of bull and bear certificates, issued by Commerzbank, Nordea, Öhman and Handelsbanken on the exchange earlier this year, as well as the mini futures issued by Royal Bank of
