Amundi targets Italy in European expansion

Amundi, which combines the asset management arms of Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, has moved into Italy as the next step in its expansion across Europe. It has listed 13 sector exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Borsa Italiana, all of which are new for the market.

The new offering includes 10 world ETFs, based on MSCI global indexes, listed in Europe. This meets the demand from institutional investors to access global sectors, not just the European sectors that were previously offered.
