Esma priorities for 2015 include drawing up new powers of product intervention

The European structured products marketplace faces a cluttered regulatory schedule this year, with several key pieces of legislation set to be drafted or implemented. In March 2014, the European Securities and Markets Authority's (Esma) Financial Innovation Standing Committee (Fisc) published an opinion paper on good practices for governance of the European structured products industry. The report aimed to help national European regulatory authorities carry out their supervisory responsibilities
