Airline sector finds favour

The index comprises 25 of the largest and most liquid stocks from exchanges in 14 developed markets, with constituent capitalisations ranging from US$750 million to $9 billion. Each component is weighted according to its liquidity, size and domicile, and the index is rebalanced quarterly.

Last month also saw the launch of the Rogers Airlines Index - Global, which measures the performance of 20 major airline stocks. The index was launched by Royal Bank of Scotland and investment expert Jim Rogers
