US providers fly the flag for autocallables

HSBC registered four autocallables with the US Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday, highlighting the ongoing popularity of this type of structure.

All four are linked to the performance of the Russell 2000 and the S&P 500 indexes. They have 1.01-year terms and a 75% downside protection barrier.

Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs registered a product that gives exposure to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund. It is a two-year investment that offers returns with an upside cap of 127–131%
