Bahrain is a country of layers. Once a hub for pearl trading, and then one of the first places to discover oil in the Middle East, it’s now an international financial centre. Driving that transformation are the thousands of people from across the globe who have moved to Bahrain, bringing with them their own sets of skills, and their own identities.
