An economist for an independent think-tank and expert witness for a utility commission are just two of the roles Chris Schlegel held before carving his name in energy risk management for US electricity generator Southern Company.
Schlegel, who is now a risk manager in the US company’s risk analysis services group, says his varied background, which has required him to assess markets from a macroeconomic and regulatory perspective, allows him to tackle the growing complexity of the commodities
