Standard Chartered has created a new unit within its financial markets business to focus on execution, clearing, liquidity and portfolio services (also known as ECLiPSe).

Consequently, the bank has appointed Andrew Sterry and Luke Brereton as co-heads of ECLiPSe, reporting to Neh Thaker, global head, options trading and platforms, and based in London and Singapore respectively. Sterry was most recently European head of over-the-counter clearing at Citigroup based in London. Brereton also joined
