CFFEX nears launch as first members announced

The China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) has named its first clearing and trading members.

The Shanghai-based exchange has yet to begin trading, but last month it said preparations to launch stock index futures were almost complete. Two trading houses, Guotai Junan Futures and Nanhua Futures, were named as full clearing members. Five other brokers, including New Century Futures and Galaxy Futures, were named as ordinary clearing members, and three others as trading members. CCFEX did not release the full list of names.
