Deutsche hires European head for structured capital markets

Deutsche Bank has hired Matt Press as managing director and European head of structured capital markets within its global markets unit. The hire is a newly created position, said a Deutsche spokeswoman.

Based in London, Press reports to Ivor Dunbar, global head of structured capital markets, a group that focuses on the development of innovative debt and derivative products.

Press joins Deutsche from Merrill Lynch, where he was a managing director in product development, focusing on similar products and capital securities. Before that, he spent six years as a director in project and structured finance at Macquarie Bank.
