Bank of America promotes White to head of global markets

Bank of America has announced the promotion of Mark White to replace Mark Werner as head of global markets at its New York office.

White took up the role after Werner's departure at the beginning of this month. He retains his role as global head of credit products, and will report to Gene Taylor, the president of the investment banking division.

Three other senior staff left the bank at the same time. Tom Berkery was chief operating officer for global markets, Pat Coleman was head of institutional sales and Tom Connor was head of global liquid products.

Connor will be replaced by Richie Prager, who until June ran the commodities business, a group within the global liquid products division.
