Barclays Capital has launched online book-building on equity structured note issues.From now on, third parties will have access to their new structured issues via the bank’s Barx for Investor Solutions platform. Barclays said clients will also be able to manage orders and access trade details electronically.
Barclays began secondary trading in equity structured notes over Barx in July. Giles Rothwell, head of investor solutions, said: “[This] extends our innovative secondary market service to our primary market.”
