Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Gareth Braithwaite as global head of insurance for its financial institutions relationship management team.

Braithwaite’s role will comprise two areas of responsibility. Reporting to Pierre Ferland, global head of financial institutions relationship management, he will manage the global insurance relationship management team, developing strategy and client propositions for the bank’s insurance industry clients.
