Reid to head Willis' structured finance group in North America

Willis Structured Financial Solutions (WSFS), a division of Bermudan-based insurance broker Willis, has hired Diana Reid to head its North American operations.

WSFS focuses on arranging deals for banks and corporates that contain participation from the insurance industry. The group was formed in January 2001 and now employs about 65 people.

Reid was lured out of a brief retirement by Willis. Previously, she had worked for Credit Suisse First Boston, including a 13-year stint in the bank’s fixed-income trading and capital markets division.

“Diana brings with her a tremendous wealth of experience and expertise and will play a key role in the strategic development of our North American business," said Paul Davidson, managing director of WSFS in London.
