BNP Paribas makes two senior hires to its equity derivatives team

BNP Paribas has bolstered its equities and derivatives trading business with two new hires. Eric Le Brusq will join as deputy head of equities and derivatives worldwide, and Todd Steinberg becomes deputy head of equities and derivatives for the Americas.

When he joins on October 3, Le Brusq will be based in Paris and report to Remi Frank, global head of sales of equities and derivatives. He will join after working for more than a decade at Société Générale, where his latest role was as European head of sales for equity derivatives structured products. Todd Steinberg joined BNP Paribas on September 19 from Wachovia Securities, where he was head of equity-linked products. Prior to Wachovia, Steinberg was head of US institutional equity derivatives at UBS Securities. He is based in New York and reports to Amine Belhadj, head of equities and derivatives for the Americas.
