Barclays hires quartet to structured credit group

Barclays Capital has hired four staff to boost its structured credit products sales team in New York.

Jim Vore joins the firm as head of hedge fund sales in New York. He was previously a member of Morgan Stanley’s hedge fund sales team.

David Wright and Rad Smith join Barclays Capital as senior financial institutions salesman and head of insurance marketing, respectively. Both join from Deutsche Bank.

Steven Segretta joins from Citibank. In his new role of senior credit derivatives structurer, Segretta is responsible for structuring and marketing static and managed synthetic collateralised debt obligations (CDO).

Vore, Wright and Smith will report to John Lovisolo head of structured credit products sales at Barclays Capital. Segretta will report to Oliver Dunsche, the firm's head of credit derivatives structuring.
