Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) has named Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) veteran Daniel Carrigan as vice-president for new product development, reports RiskNews’ sister publication, Dealing With Technology .In his new position, Carrigan will be responsible for developing new proprietary equity, options and futures products for the PHLX.
At CBOT, Carrigan held the position of managing director/head of equities. In total, he has more than 17 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his CBOT tenure, Carrigan was a founding partner and managing director/head of international business development for OneChicago, an electronic futures exchange. He has also worked as a trader and in business development roles for Tudor Investment, Finacor Vendome, ABN Amro and Crédit Agricole.
