RBC in equity and mutual funds expansion

Franck Morotti has joined RBC Capital Markets as head of equity structured product trading for Europe. The appointment is the first in a series of hires marking the company’s expansion both in equity and mutual fund derivatives.

Morotti will have direct and global responsibilities for structured notes and over-the-counter options linked to single mutual funds and baskets of funds. Morotti and the equity derivatives traders in his team will cover the pricing and risk management of OTC option positions linked to equity securities that are listed and traded in Europe. The group’s responsibilities include derivatives that form part of equity-linked structured notes globally.

Morotti joins RBC Capital Markets from Commerzbank, where he co-managed the mutual and hedge fund derivatives business.

He will report to Johan Wahlstedt and Steven Milke, co-heads of RBC Capital Markets' global structured equities and commodities business.
