Custard to lead UBS GAM's global investment solutions

UBS Global Asset Management (UBS GAM) has named Curt Custard as head of its global investment solutions division. Custard joins UBS GAM from Schroders, where he was global head of multi-asset solutions, a position he had held since 2004.

Based in London, Custard will report to John Fraser, chairman and chief executive of UBS GAM. When he starts his new role in March 2008, he will be responsible for asset allocation, currency, risk management and advisory services to clients. He succeeds Brian Singer, who will leave the firm in the coming months.
