CLS hires ABN Amro’s Butterfield

Jonathan Butterfield has joined CLS Bank in New York as executive vice-president, marketing and communication.

Butterfield will report to New York-based president and chief executive of CLS Joseph De Feo, and will be responsible for CLS Group’s relationship management, product management and communication functions.

Butterfield joins from ABN Amro, where he was a managing director for the financial institutions and public sector within the global transaction services division.

CLS went live last year and acts as a global settlement system for foreign exchange transactions.
