Fredrickson bows out as global head of rates at UBS

Tim Fredrickson has retired from UBS, where he headed the Swiss bank’s global interest rates business until the end of May.

Fredrickson, a veteran of the derivatives business and a board member of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, plans to spend more time with his family, according to a UBS spokeswoman.

Simeon Schwartz, previously head of the rates business for UBS in the United States, has replaced Fredrickson as global head of interest rates.
