Nine months after the turmoil in the financial markets began in earnest, regulatory responses to the crisis are coming thick and fast. On March 13, the President's Working Group on Financial Markets released its investigation into the causes of the crisis. This was followed by the Financial Stability Forum, a group of central banks, supervisors and treasury departments, which released its own postmortem on April 12.
