Nomura hires high yield research head

Global investment bank Nomura has recruited Ronan Clarke as head of high yield credit research for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Clarke, who will be based in London, arrives from Royal Bank of Scotland where he held a similar role. He had previously worked for UBS and JP Morgan as an industrials analyst.

Karine Elias has also joined the firm as senior high yield analyst. She will cover retail and gaming credits. Elias joins the bank from MF Global, and has previous experience in high yield credit research with Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS and Morgan Stanley.
