Four new members for Finra board as existing members stand down

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra) has appointed the former interim chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Elisse Walter, to its board. Walter, who takes on the role of public governor, is one of four new board members announced, including president and chief executive of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organisation of Canada, Susan Jenah, who will likewise act as a public governor.

Finra made the announcement following its annual meeting, which also saw firms vote
