SGX hires new regulatory and risk management chiefs

Singapore Exchange (SGX) has boosted its regulatory and risk management team through two new appointments.

The exchange has promoted Richard Teng to deputy chief regulatory officer, effective January 1, and hired Sonia Zhang as head of risk management as of December 5.

In his new role, Teng will support chief regulatory officer Yeo Lian Sim in maintaining SGX's regulatory framework. Teng was appointed head of regulation in July 2011 having joined SGX in 2007 as head of issuer regulation and
