Aegon appoints global sustainability head

The Hague-based insurer Aegon has appointed Marc van Weede as global head of sustainability, reporting directly to CEO Alex Wynaendts. Van Weede was most recently the head of Aegon's group business development department, as well as president of the company's joint venture in China. Previously he was responsible for strategy at Aegon's public policy and regulatory Office.
