Voldstad to replace Pickel as Isda chief exec

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association has named industry veteran Connie Voldstad as its new chief executive, replacing Robert Pickel.

Voldstad took over the role at the end of November. Pickel, chief executive since January 2001, is staying with the association in the newly created post of executive vice-chairman.

Voldstad joined JP Morgan in 1974, where he set up and ran the bank’s global swaps desk. But operational and back-office problems hampered the desk’s growth and Voldstad
