Wilcke to head UK asset-protection scheme

The UK Treasury has appointed Stephan Wilcke as chief executive of the Asset Protection Agency (APA), the body set up to run its asset-protection scheme.

Wilcke joins from London-based credit asset manager Cairn Capital, where he was a senior adviser. He has also been a partner at private equity firm Apax Partners and financial services consultancy Oliver Wyman.

He will replace Jeremy Bennett, formerly head of structuring, co-head of European fixed income and co-head of emerging markets at
