CTFC commissioner joins NYSE Euronext

Walter Lukken, a commissioner and former chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has left the regulator. He joins NYSE Euronext in the newly created role of senior vice-president of global market structure, in the office of its general counsel. He is based in New York. In his time at the CFTC, Lukken was the first chairman of the Energy Markets Advisory Committee, which was created in February 2008 to advise the Commission on regulatory issues in commodity futures markets.
