DB sues JPMorgan over departure of CDO team

Deutsche Bank is suing JPMorgan after the American bank poached Deutsche’s former co-head of securitised products Brian Zeitlin. Deutsche claims that Zeitlin has violated his contract by persuading other members of Deutsche’s CDO team to jump ship with him.

Zeitlin joined JPMorgan in late August, taking with him James Kane, Steve Weinrich, Yale Baron and James Millard. Zeitlin is now responsible for JPMorgan’s global CDO business, and will reportedly receive a $2 million equity package as part of
