Appointment at Nikko Citigroup

People

Investment bank Nikko Citigroup has made three new hires in Tokyo. Tony Kay starts in a senior trading role in the credit products group in April. Kay, who is fluent in Japanese, was formerly head of credit derivatives trading at Bank of America in Tokyo, and before that he was at UBS. Gordon Axford has arrived at Nikko, as fixed-income derivatives manager responsible for all yen-denominated interest rate derivatives trading.
