ABN Amro targets exotic credit derivatives with senior hire

ABN Amro has hired Richard Whittle from UBS as global head of exotic credit derivatives - a new role in the bank’s financial markets business.

The Dutch bank says it is boosting its structured credit derivatives expertise with the appointment of Whittle, who will be responsible for all correlation and non-vanilla products.

Whittle will be based in London and will report to Arne Groes, global head of credit trading.

He joins from UBS, where he was European co-head of credit derivatives.
