Deutsche Bank hires for prime brokerage development

Deutsche Bank has hired Mike Ginelli from Barclays Capital to head its product development for prime brokerage within the bank’s global markets division in New York.

At Barclays, he had managed a team responsible for global product and business development issues as director in the prime services division. In his new role, he will report to Thomas Kerns, global head of client reporting and product integration at Deutsche Bank.

The German dealer also appointed Mahesh Kumar as a director within its product development group, reporting to Ginelli. He joins from UBS, where he was director of business development initiatives for the prime services business.
