Grant Thornton makes strategic risk management appointment

Accountancy firm Grant Thornton has today appointed Sandy Kumar as a director of its risk management practice.

Kumar joins from Japanese bank UFJ International, where for the past eight years he served as head of internal audit for business and IT.

Kumar will boost the financial services capabilities of the risk management services practice. Grant Thornton believes his appointment will help open up new audit opportunities in the UK and build on the work completed for global clients based in the US.
