Community data sharing could change cyber risk protocol

The way banks fight cyber crime could be overhauled with the introduction of a new data sharing platform designed to combat cyber risk, due for release on December 2.

Soltra Edge, developed jointly by the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-Isac) and the US Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), is expected to save financial institutions both money and labour in tackling cyber attacks through a data sharing community approach.
