Markit bows CDS index volumes data

UK-based data vendor Markit has begun offering daily trading volumes for its credit derivative index products sourced from the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp.

Markit began making the new content available free of charge via its website at the end of 2010. The data comprises daily volumes, including the number and notional value of trades for a range of credit derivative indexes, including on- and off-the-run trades for Markit’s CDX North American and emerging markets indexes and its iTraxx

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
