Mariner picks ex-BlackRock rates head for macro strategy

After a nine-month search, Mariner Investment Group has selected the first portfolio manager for its hedge fund incubation programme.

Eric Pellicciaro, who left his role as head of global rates investments at BlackRock in late 2012, will run the Mariner Alarium Global Macro portfolio.
