Citi head of LNG origination departs

Rodney Malcolm, Houston-based global head of liquefied natural gas (LNG) origination at Citi, has left the bank, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Malcolm was hired by Citi as managing director and global head of commodities capital markets in July 2006. He previously worked as chief financial officer and interim executive vice-president at Texas-based energy firm Calpine. More recently, Malcolm spoke at Energy Risk USA in Houston on the nascent global market for LNG derivatives in
