With equities expected to top the agenda for investors as the appetite for risk increases, inflows into exchange-traded products (ETPs) are likely to reflect the surge in interest. "December was the second best month of 2012 for global inflows into ETPs, mostly because of equities," says Dodd Kittsley, New York-based global head of ETP research at Blackrock. "We saw the highest flows ($15 billion) into large-cap US equities since January 2010."
