BMA opens doors to buy side

The Bond Market Association (BMA) is welcoming asset managers into its ranks for the first time. The industry association hopes that by admitting the buy side it will be better able to solve "common problems", it says.

"This is a truly historic step for the BMA," says Ed Forst, chairman of the BMA and chief administrative officer of Goldman Sachs Group. "By bringing together the views of the buy side and the sell side, the association will be even better able to address common issues
