ABS performance will be 'more volatile' in 2008 - Fitch

The outlook for the ABS sector in the US is "less favourable" moving into 2008, according to a report by Fitch Ratings. It cites forecasts for lower consumer spending and slowing income growth as putting downward pressure on the sector for the remainder of this year and into the next.
