Merrill Lynch launches retail structured notes in Singapore

US bank Merrill Lynch in October launched its first equity-linked structured notes for the retail market in Singapore.

The Citrine Giant Booster Notes, offered in Singapore dollar and US dollar tranches, are principal-protected and pay a fixed coupon of 3% and 6% respectively at the end of six months. Thereafter, semi-annual variable coupons of up to 6% for the Singapore dollar notes and up to 12% for the US dollar notes would be paid if all the reference shares in a basket of eight global blue
