John Studzinski leaves HSBC

Stuart Gulliver is to take sole responsibility for HSBC’s Corporate, Investment Bank and Markets (CIBM) businesses, following the departure of his former co-head John Studzinski. Gulliver takes on his new role immediately, while Studzinski will focus on what the bank terms “client work” until his departure on September 30. He will continue advising HSBC’s senior management after that date as part of his new role with advisory firm The Blackstone Group.
