Ukraine heads list of riskiest sovereign issuers

The second quarterly Global Sovereign Risk report reveals that Ukraine's sovereign debt is the riskiest, while Norway's is the safest. The report from CMA, the provider of CDS prices and other data to the credit market, ranks debt from government issuers according to three metrics: CDS values, cumulative probability of default (CPD) and implied ratings.

According to the report, the world's five riskiest sovereign issuers are Ukraine, with a CPD of 89.7% and an implied rating of CCC+, Argentina
