Interwoven makes inroads into Latin America

Interwoven has signed its first Latin American contract for its Scrittura over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives processing solution. The unnamed new client, which is reportedly one of Mexico's largest investment banks, will use the Scrittura technology to handle rapidly increasing volumes of OTC derivatives transactions. The Bank for International Settlements valued outstanding derivatives trades in Mexico at $535 billion in June 2005, almost double that of the previous year. Scrittura aims to help
