Obama plans alternative energy boost

Speaking today at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, Obama said his American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan would jumpstart job creation and long-term growth in the US, saving or creating at least three million jobs over the next few years.

This will come from the development of new energy technologies and the construction of solar panels and wind turbines, as well as the creation of a new smart electricity grid to save money, protect power sources from blackout or attack and deliver
