Quiet optimism for industry future: an interview with Christopher Fawcett, Fauchier Partners

It was happenstance that led Christopher Fawcett to a career in hedge funds. A friend who was an equity broker remarked that some of his best and brightest clients were leaving investment banks to set up hedge funds and advised Fawcett to take a look at them. At the same time an investment holding company with surplus cash wanted to put its money to work somewhere there was a good return and not too high a risk. “So it was people and returns that caused me to get into hedge funds,” says Fawcett
