Mandate watch: JP Morgan makes collateral management gains

Collateral management is a growing market for securities services providers as new regulations force a greater need.

JP Morgan has signed up AustralianSuper, which is a multi-industry platform for pensions across Australia. In New Zealand, the Government Superannuation Fund Authority and the National Provident Fund, which run 11 defined contribution and defined benefit pensions schemes with more than 18,000 contributors and 16,000 pensioners, are now both using the US bank’s collateral management
