Barcap adds Mallegol to equity derivatives flow

Yannick Mallegol has joined Barclays Capital as managing director, head of equity derivatives flow sales. Mallegol was formerly at Société Générale, where he was head of equity derivatives flow sales. Mallegol will report to Guglielmo Sartori di Borgoricco, head of distribution.

“We continue to see opportunities to expand our equity business globally, taking advantage of the market environment to accelerate our growth plans,” says Dixit Joshi, head of the equity-linked business at Barcap. “We have already increased headcount significantly this year across distribution, origination and trading for derivatives, convertibles and fund products.”
